Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and seasoned Maintenance Technician to join our team! Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing injection molding machines, automation equipment used for packaging, and all related auxiliary systems. This includes diagnosing equipment issues, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently.

  • Must be able to read and understand written instructions and basic drawings, and effectively follow directions from the Supervisor/Manager
  • Must demonstrate strong teamwork, consistently follow safe work practices, and maintain a proactive 'can do' and 'do it right' mindset, ensuring that product quality and customer service remain top priorities
  • Able to lift weights up to 50lbs without causing strains or injury
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and proactively recognize and mitigate potential problem areas before they result in safety hazards, quality defects, or cost impacts
  • Responsible for completing machine resets and maintaining the security, functionality, and cleanliness of critical infrastructure systems—including chillers, air compressors, water systems—as well as performing oil cleanups and related tasks to support safe and efficient plant operations
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing industrial machinery or related mechanical/electrical equipment
  • Ability to accurately read, analyze, and interpret mechanical prints, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics to support troubleshooting and repair activities
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to maintain equipment performance and reliability
  • Must have a solid understanding of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and be skilled in carrying out routine and preventive maintenance tasks in a safe and compliant manner
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • High School Diploma or GED required
Pay:
From $36.00 per hour
