We specialize in producing high-quality aluminum wheels for Toyota and Lexus, and steel wheels for Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, and Subaru Customer Excellence Safety First Teamwork Community Commitment Join the CMWA Team Mechanical Maintenance Technician Mechanical Maintenance Technician Full-Time | Paris, Kentucky | 12-Hour 2-3-2 Schedule CMWA is seeking experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to support our manufacturing operations. This position is focused on industrial mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and repair. We are looking for technicians who can diagnose problems, make effective repairs, and help prevent equipment failures. Work Schedule This position works a 12-hour, 2-3-2 schedule on one of four dedicated crews.
Day Shift:
7:00 AM - 7:00
PM Night Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM The 2-3-2 schedule provides a predictable rotation What You'll Do As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve industrial manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnose mechanical equipment failures and determine root causes. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Repair and maintain industrial production machinery and automated equipment. Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, regulators, and associated components. Repair and replace bearings, gearboxes, couplings, chains, belts, shafts, and other power-transmission components. Perform equipment alignment, adjustment, and precision mechanical work. Troubleshoot lubrication systems and mechanical equipment conditions. Perform basic fabrication, welding, cutting, drilling, and equipment modifications as required. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, hydraulic schematics, and pneumatic schematics. Assist with equipment installations, rebuilds, upgrades, and continuous-improvement projects. Complete assigned preventive maintenance activities and accurately document completed work. Work closely with electrical technicians, production members, engineers, and other maintenance personnel to restore equipment safely and efficiently. Identify recurring equipment problems and participate in permanent corrective actions rather than relying on repeated temporary repairs. Follow all plant safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout and applicable safe-work procedures. What We're Looking For Successful candidates should have hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.
Preferred skills and experience include:
Industrial mechanical maintenance or related manufacturing experience. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience. Experience with bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, motors, couplings, and power-transmission systems. Ability to safely use precision measuring instruments and mechanical maintenance tools. Ability to read mechanical drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, CNC equipment, or high-volume production environments is a plus. Technical school, apprenticeship, industrial maintenance training, or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred. Ready to become part of our team?
