Full-Time Job Overview Maple Grove Senior Living is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-cared-for flooring throughout our senior living community while helping create a welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain flooring throughout resident and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and polishing. Safely operate and maintain floor-care equipment, including buffers and scrubbers. Follow proper procedures for cleaning chemicals, infection prevention, and workplace safety. Respond to spills and other cleaning needs promptly to maintain a safe environment. Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and report maintenance or supply needs. Work collaboratively with Environmental Services and other facility departments. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness while respecting residents and their living environment. Requirements:

Requirements Previous floor care, housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience preferred. Experience operating floor buffers, scrubbers, polishers, and related equipment preferred. Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical handling and safety practices. Strong attention to detail, dependability, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, grip, push, and pull. Ability to lift, move, push, or pull 50 pounds or more as needed. Comfortable working in a healthcare environment and assisting with cleanup of spills and waste, including bodily waste.
