Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances and mechanical equipment following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols. Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical components to minimize operational disruptions. Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and inspection reports to track equipment status and ensure compliance with safety standards. Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site maintenance tasks or equipment transport as needed. Collaborate with team members to identify potential issues proactively and implement effective solutions quickly. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring for troubleshooting complex systems. Hands-on experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices across various mechanical and electrical systems. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients during service interactions. Ability to operate HVAC & appliance technology tools efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines. Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and guide less experienced technicians when necessary. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely in diverse environments.
