Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including electrical equipment, plumbing, HVAC units, and facilities equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues. Conduct plumbing maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures. Maintain HVAC systems by diagnosing problems, repairing components, or replacing parts to ensure efficient climate control. Utilize hand tools for carpentry projects, maintenance painting, or structural repairs within residential units or common areas. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as building interior upkeep, painting projects, or installing new fixtures while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, work orders, inspections, and safety checks to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive community atmosphere. Rotate on-call emergency work order schedule. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or multi-family property maintenance with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, and carpentry. Hands-on experience with facilities equipment maintenance including HVAC systems and electrical equipment repair. Knowledge of maintenance painting techniques and building interior upkeep is preferred. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently. Experience demonstrating the ability to coordinate tasks effectively within a team environment. Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and resident interactions. Certifications related to electrical work or HVAC systems are advantageous but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided if necessary.
