Overview Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Duct Cleaning Technician and become a vital part of ensuring clean, safe, and efficient air systems for our valued clients. In this role, you'll be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and maintaining ductwork in commercial and industrial settings, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to deliver exceptional service. Your expertise will help improve indoor air quality, promote energy efficiency, and uphold safety standards across diverse environments. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive cleaning of ductwork using industrial cleaning tools, pressure washing equipment, and manual hand tools to remove debris, mold, and buildup. Safely operate ladders and scaffolding to access high or hard-to-reach duct systems while adhering to all safety protocols. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, goggles, and safety harnesses to ensure safety during all tasks. Perform manual handling of heavy equipment and materials required for duct cleaning projects, including lifting and maneuvering bulky items safely. Apply pressure washing techniques to thoroughly clean outdoor ventilation components and accessible duct sections. Use fire extinguishers appropriately in case of emergencies during work operations. Maintain detailed records of each job performed, including cleaning procedures, safety checks, and client interactions to ensure quality control. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about the process, progress, and any additional recommendations for their systems. Follow strict safety protocols during all phases of work to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards. Assist with other commercial cleaning tasks such as floor buffing or outdoor cleaning projects as needed to support overall site maintenance. Requirements Proven experience in duct cleaning or industrial cleaning environments with a focus on HVAC systems. Ability to use ladders safely and confidently at various heights for accessing ductwork in different settings. Skilled in the use of hand tools, pressure washers, and specialized cleaning equipment for industrial applications. Knowledge of safety procedures including PPE usage, manual handling techniques, fire extinguisher operation, and adherence to safety protocols. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks throughout the workday. Outdoor work experience preferred due to the nature of some projects involving external ventilation systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about services provided. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices such as floor buffing or outdoor surface cleaning is a plus.
