Responsibilities Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning, skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces to ensure optimal water quality and appearance Monitor and adjust pool chemistry by balancing pH levels, alkalinity, chlorine, and other water treatment chemicals to maintain safe swimming conditions Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, valves, and timers to ensure continuous operation Conduct inspections of pool plumbing systems and mechanical components to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs or replacements Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, and application in accordance with safety regulations Operate company vehicles safely for transportation to various aquatic facilities or job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies Maintain detailed service logs, equipment records, and safety documentation for each job performed Skills Strong knowledge of pool plumbing systems, mechanical components, and water treatment processes Experience with aquatic facility maintenance including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment troubleshooting Ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely with proper understanding of chemical agent handling protocols Proficiency with hand tools and power tools necessary for equipment repair and maintenance tasks Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and facility staff Outdoor work experience with the ability to work in varying weather conditions throughout the year Familiarity with pool chemistry balancing techniques to ensure safe swimming environments This role is perfect for individuals passionate about maintaining aquatic facilities who enjoy hands-on work in outdoor settings.
