You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency through expert troubleshooting and proactive equipment care. Responsibilities Execute complex mold changeovers to support rapid production transitions. Diagnose and resolve issues within hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems by interpreting technical schematics and manuals. Extend the operational lifespan of machinery by performing rigorous preventive maintenance and system cleaning. Utilize precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers to verify component specifications and ensure machine accuracy. Maintain a safe, compliant work environment by strictly adhering to OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols. Document all repair activities and machine status updates to ensure seamless communication across production shifts. Manage the upkeep of critical support infrastructure, including industrial chillers and air compressors. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing maintenance role. High School Diploma or equivalent supplemented by formal technical training. Proficiency in troubleshooting Allen Bradley or Fanuc control systems. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 50 lbs and climbing ladders. Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation. Must possess a personal set of professional-grade maintenance tools. Preferred Skills Prior experience operating forklift equipment in a warehouse or plant setting. Direct experience with major injection molding platforms like Husky, Arburg, or Milacron. Demonstrated ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends.
