Avery Dennison is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to lead equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility uptime In this role, you won't just apply "band-aid" fixes—you'll use your technical skills to identify root causes, troubleshoot electrical/PLC issues, and keep production moving safely.

2:45pm-11pm

Hourly Rate:

$31.47-$41.41/hour depending on experience The hiring wage rate range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. What You'll Do Diagnostic Repair:

Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, and pneumatic/hydraulic components

Electrical & PLCs:

Read schematics and utilize PLCs to diagnose faults on automated lines

Preventative Care:

Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain equipment per OSHA standards

Continuous Improvement:

Partner with team members and engineers to reduce downtime, eliminate waste, and optimize processes

Safety & Support:

Keep a safe work area, record maintenance logs, and support site goals

Qualifications Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Classification:

Avery Dennison - Internal 3 - 5 years previous experience Certifications in specialty areas required as applicable. Or acquire within specified timing any licenses necessary to perform the job. Electrical certification/ training or 3-5 years experience. PLC certification/training or 3- 5 years experience. Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical skills and aptitude and logical problem solving skills necessary. Good verbal and written communication. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a highly participating work system. Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner necessary. Must be motivated towards productivity improvements, safety and quality awareness.

Preferred:

AutoCad proficiency Associate Degree or better in Manufacturing or Electrical disciplines.
