The Liberty Group is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for an immediate opportunity with a residential apartment community in Everett, MA . We are looking for a dependable, hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting skills who can jump in and support the onsite maintenance team with day-to-day resident and property needs.

Responsibilities:

Complete resident work orders and service requests Perform apartment turns and make-ready work Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs Perform painting, patching and drywall repairs Complete minor carpentry and general property repairs Troubleshoot appliances and assist with replacements Perform preventative maintenance Maintain common areas and property grounds Provide professional and courteous service to residents Assist the maintenance team with additional property projects as needed

Qualifications:

Previous apartment or residential maintenance experience preferred Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting and general repairs Apartment turnover experience strongly preferred Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of an onsite team Professional communication and customer service skills Candidates with transferable experience in multifamily, residential, commercial, facilities or hospitality maintenance are encouraged to apply.
