About the Role We are seeking a mechanically skilled Dock & Door Technician for our West Springfield branch. This role is designed for technicians with at least 1 year of hands-on experience servicing commercial overhead doors, dock levelers, or residential garage doors who are ready to advance their trade with top-tier commercial equipment, dedicated lead tech support, and a fast track to running their own truck.

Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and install commercial sectional doors, rolling steel doors, and high-speed fabric doors. Service and maintain mechanical and hydraulic dock levelers, dock seals, bumpers, and vehicle restraints. Diagnose and wire commercial operators, control boxes, photo-eyes, and safety edges. Communicate professionally with facility and plant managers on site regarding repairs and safety recommendations. Qualifications 1+ years of experience installing, servicing, or repairing commercial overhead doors, dock equipment, or residential garage doors. Solid mechanical aptitude with springs, cables, drums, track alignment, and hydraulics. Basic low-voltage electrical troubleshooting knowledge (commercial operators, limit switches, control panels). Comfortable working off ladders, scaffolding, and scissor/boom lifts. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ lbs safely on active jobsites.
