Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for a mechanic or maintenance professional with strong electrical troubleshooting experience and a solid background working on industrial production equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while ensuring maximum equipment uptime and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment. Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, sensors, relays, contactors, overloads, limit switches, and electrical circuits. Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Replace and wire motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, and other electrical components. Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to identify equipment failures. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders. Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations during production. Assist with machine setups, equipment adjustments, and production changeovers. Document maintenance activities and repairs performed. Required Qualifications Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong electrical troubleshooting experience.Hands-on experience with:
AC/DC motors Sensors Limit switches Relays and contactors Overloads Electrical circuits Multimeters Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics. Experience performing preventative and reactive maintenance. Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience with industrial electronics. Additional manufacturing maintenance experience. Technical training, vocational certification, or related education in industrial maintenance or electrical systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-conscious, and thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sanford, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
