Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description This role focuses on performing repair and preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and related production equipment to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation across the facility. Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventative maintenance procedures on injection molding machines and auxiliary production equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Diagnose faulty production and auxiliary equipment using electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, and assembly drawings to identify root causes of issues. Carry out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs in a safe and compliant manner, following established maintenance and safety procedures. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, including electrical power and control circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components. Order and track replacement parts and materials required for repairs and maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of work. Support industrial and electrical maintenance across the facility, including building and site maintenance tasks as needed. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage to maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement of maintenance processes. Collaborate with production personnel to minimize equipment downtime and communicate repair status and maintenance plans. Follow all safety guidelines and best practices while working on machinery and facility systems to maintain a safe work environment. Essential Skills Hands-on maintenance experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial environment. Experience working with injection mold equipment, including repair and preventative maintenance activities. Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, as well as assembly drawings, for troubleshooting and repair. Industrial and electrical maintenance experience, including work on production machinery and facility systems. Experience with building and site maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong skills in electrical repair, troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance. Knowledge of and experience with preventative maintenance practices for production equipment. Knowledgeable in hydraulics, including hydraulic power and control systems used in industrial machinery. Knowledgeable in pneumatics and related control circuits used in manufacturing equipment. Knowledgeable in electrical power and control circuits, including diagnosis and repair of faults. Additional Skills & Qualifications Injection molding maintenance experience is a strong plus and highly desirable. Broad exposure to industrial maintenance across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks based on production needs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex equipment issues using technical documentation. Attention to detail when reviewing schematics, drawings, and maintenance records. Effective communication skills to coordinate with production and maintenance team members. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a semi climate-controlled manufacturing facility working primarily on injection molding and related production equipment. The environment involves hands-on work with industrial machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general building and site maintenance, requiring adherence to safety practices and appropriate work attire suitable for an industrial setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broken Arrow, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
