Position Description:
Join a dynamic team as a Commercial Maintenance Technician dedicated to maintaining and servicing commercial properties in Columbia, MD. In this role, you will deliver efficient and quality maintenance services, ensuring facilities operate smoothly and safely. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and a first shift schedule with some nights and weekends. You will interact directly with clients, performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance across various trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general building repairs. Utilize your technical skills to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and maintain high standards of workmanship. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication, safety awareness, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Top Requirements:
- 2-5 years of maintenance experience across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or related trades
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance
