Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Support medical procedures by preparing patients, maintaining aseptic techniques, and handling equipment like Hoyer lifts or catheters with precision Ensure patient safety through proper manual handling practices and safe lifting techniques during transfers or repositioning Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver personalized care and updates on patient status Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Assist with medication administration under supervision, ensuring correct dosages and adherence to prescribed protocols Qualifications Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from an accredited program Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia or Alzheimer's care, and those requiring memory or hospice care Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/Epic/eClinicalWorks/Cerner) systems for accurate documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques relevant to patient care Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual transfers using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods Strong caregiving communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient service Prior experience in hospital medicine, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or home & community care settings is highly desirable Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and first aid are required; additional training in infectious disease care or ICU experience is a plus Join us to be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
