Job Description
Job Overview Cohenterprises Inc, a Frederick, MD headquartered hospitality development and management company, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician II position. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the facility's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong technical skills and a proactive approach to facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of building systems and demonstrate leadership in troubleshooting and repairs. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and repairs of guest rooms, hallways, meeting rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. Repair or replace basic plumbing fixtures, faucets, drains, and other plumbing components. Repair doors, locks, hinges, furniture, walls, ceilings, and other hotel fixtures. Perform basic electrical repairs, including switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and bulbs. Repair and maintain PTAC equipment and identify heating, cooling, and ventilation issues. Respond promptly to guest and department maintenance requests. Complete work orders accurately and document repairs performed. Conduct carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance tasks to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality. Lead or assist with maintenance projects. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used. Collaborate with team members to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Experience Minimum of 2 years experience. Proven experience in facilities maintenance or engineering within a hospitality or commercial environment. Knowledge of electrical work, plumbing system maintenance and repair, HVAC system repair, carpentry, and painting. Excellent communication skills in English for effective team collaboration. Knowledge of building interior maintenance standards and facilities equipment management.
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
