Service Technician Field Service Technician -
General Level Location:
Frederick, MD and surrounding service area (up to 150-mile radius)Pay:
$25.00-$32.00/hour + Overtime, Double-Time Opportunities & On-Call Incentives Join a Team That Solves Problems Every Day We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician to provide maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance services throughout the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, working independently, and delivering exceptional customer service in the field. What You'll Do Provide maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services at customer locations. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical equipment issues. Interpret wiring schematics and identify appropriate corrective actions. Collaborate with service coordinators and technical teams to ensure timely solutions. Gather information for quotes, parts orders, and installations. Build strong customer relationships through professional service and problem-solving. Recommend system improvements and best practices to customers. Complete service documentation accurately and on time. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a maintenance-related or technical field. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand wiring schematics. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Proficiency with computers, tablets, and mobile devices. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Experience servicing pumps, motors, and control systems. Ability to read blueprints, project specifications, and installation manuals. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Proven ability to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
