BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join the team at a newly constructed luxury apartment community in Perry Hall, Maryland. This beautiful community features 311 upscale apartment homes and offers an exceptional opportunity for a maintenance professional who takes pride in delivering first-class service and maintaining a high-quality living environment. If you have a strong multifamily maintenance background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and experience working with a wide variety of residential systems and appliances, we want to hear from you. Position Overview The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing all aspects of apartment homes, common areas, and building systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HVAC systems, gas appliances, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general apartment maintenance within a multifamily housing environment. This position requires a proactive professional who can work independently, respond quickly to service requests, and contribute to the overall success of a luxury residential community. Required Experience & Technical Skills Candidates must possess strong working knowledge and experience in the following areas: HVAC Systems

R410A air conditioning systems

HVAC troubleshooting and repairs

Preventive maintenance programs

System diagnostics and performance optimization

Gas Systems

Gas furnaces

Gas stoves and ranges

Safe operation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances

Water Heating Systems

Electric hot water heaters

Troubleshooting and repair

Installation and replacement experience preferred

Appliance Repair

Refrigerators

Dishwashers

Microwaves

Garbage disposals

Washers and dryers

Other residential appliances

Plumbing

Minor plumbing repairs

Faucet and fixture replacement

Toilet repairs

Drain clearing and leak diagnosis

Electrical

Basic electrical troubleshooting

Outlet, switch, and lighting repairs

Fixture replacement

Minor electrical maintenance

General Maintenance

Preventive maintenance

Unit turns and make-readies

Work order completion

Interior and exterior property upkeep

Qualifications

Required

Previous experience working in a multifamily apartment community

Strong maintenance and troubleshooting skills

Experience with HVAC, gas systems, appliance repair, plumbing, and electrical work

Professional customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable transportation and attendance

Preferred

EPA Certification (preferred but not required)

Experience in luxury apartment communities

Strong technical diagnostic abilities

Drug Screening Requirement All candidates must successfully pass: 10-Panel Drug Screen
