Work Location Brinkley House Apartments 3051 Brinkley Rd #T1 Temple Hills, MD 20748 Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the entire property and assisting the Property Manager by making repairs and ensuring that the tenant's requests are responded to in a timely manner. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Handle any needed maintenance concerns in occupied, vacant and model apartments. Keep common areas and exterior clean and free of trash and debris. Make apartments move-in ready by; cleaning, patching, painting and repairing walls, fixtures, and flooring. Changes light bulbs, filters, and locks as needed. Perform daily inspections of the property and report any maintenance concerns to the Property Manager and/or Service Manager and recommend solutions. Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule. Complete service request in order of priority. Qualifications Two to three years of experience working as a maintenance professional. Bilingual Skills preferred, not required. Experience working in a residential setting is preferred, but not required. Must be trained and experienced to safely handle specific hazardous material associated with building maintenance Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
