Job Summary H.H. Sawyer Realty is a family run property management company that has been in business for over 50 years. We are currently hiring for a full-time maintenance position to join our team. Our maintenance team handles all tasks involved in the upkeep of 300 rental units in-town Portland. The position is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with an on-call rotation and seasonal overtime. Responsibilities and Duties Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carpentry and roof repair
• Apartment turn overs
• Plumbing and electrical repair
• Flooring installation and refinishing
• Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the properties
• Lawn care and landscaping
• Snow shoveling, salting and sanding
• Appliance replacement
• Rubbish removal and pick up
• Work on ladders
• After hours on-call duty on rotation

Compensation:

Hourly wage Qualifications and Skills Maintenance staff are required to lift 50 pounds repetitively at times. Seasonal temperature exposure is required. This is an interior/exterior position.

Requirements:

• Safety toed footwear
• Experience in the building and maintenance trades
• Basic hand tools
• Drivers license and registered, inspected insured vehicle
• A clean criminal record (background checks are performed during interview process)
• Must be able to trouble shoot and repair problems in a timely professional manner
• Must be able to work independently and as a team player
• Use and follow all company and mandated safety equipment and procedures
