We are hiring a Maintenance team member to join our hotel maintenance crews. Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift and/or carry 30 pounds Ability to stand for 8 hours, bend, stretch, and reach Must display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times in the work place and community Availability to work weekends and holidays Any knowledge/experience with any of the following: electrical, plumbing, construction/carpentry, & HVAC is valued but not mandatory Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of local area attractions and information Customer service oriented attitude Ability to multi task in a high stress environment with a smile Attention to detail Team player Specific Responsibilities Grounds work & general property clean up Moving supplies & receiving deliveries for hotel, restaurant, and store Supporting housekeeping, store, and front office teams Responding to general maintenance requests in guest rooms, restaurant, store, & employee areas Maintain safety/security practices & have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures Parking lot monitoring & other duties as requested Lafayette Hotels is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
