Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role involves maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment, ensuring that all facilities are operating smoothly and safely. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules. Supervise maintenance staff as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Weld and fabricate components as required for repairs or modifications. Execute residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential problems before they escalate. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. Familiarity with CMMS software is preferred. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Experience in supervising staff is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques is desirable. Basic skills in residential painting are advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
