Job Description

The Senior Maintenance Technician position performs preventative and routine maintenance on all plant equipment excluding office and computer equipment. The position requires considerable knowledge of hands-on machine and building maintenance. This position works closely with Maintenance Manager to effectively prioritize daily work activities to accomplish daily production and maintenance objectives. This role will be working 1pm - 9pm
Essential Functions:
Interpret blueprints, equipment manuals. layouts and wiring diagrams. Help lead the effort of preparing documentation regarding PM and machine operation Use necessary tools and knowledge to keep plant and equipment running efficiently. Perform preventative maintenance according to manufacturer's specifications. Use necessary tools and knowledge to keep plant and equipment running Maintain appropriate records, keep inventory of spare parts and shop materials Responsible for upkeep of machine manuals and specification literature provided by equipment vendors and warranty tracking. Must know which critical operations to shut down in an emergency.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma and/or GED equivalent is required. 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience 3+ years PLC experience 5+ years of diverse experience in high volume production setting. Must hold a boiler operator license, or be capable of obtaining a license. Must be meticulous in the following of written instructions and monitoring work efforts. Must be highly conscious of food processing sanitation issues. Must be capable of understanding equipment diagrams and technical specification manuals. Requires good judgment in dealing with problems and developing solutions. Must have good interpersonal communication skills to work with mixers, line operators, materials handlers and management. Must be highly safety conscious with respect to equipment and lock-out tag-out procedures.
Pay:
$29.00 - $38.00 per hour
