Full Job Description Apartment Maintenance Technician Location:

Ann Arbor, MI 48108

Pay:

$23-$28 per hour, based on experience Job type: Full-time We're hiring a dependable Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Ann Arbor. You'll complete resident service requests, prepare apartments for new residents, and help keep the buildings and grounds in good condition. The right person enjoys hands-on work, communicates well with residents, and can manage daily priorities with limited supervision. Responsibilities Diagnose and complete maintenance requests in occupied apartments Prepare vacant apartments for move-in, including repairs, painting, and general upkeep Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, and HVAC-related repairs Complete preventive maintenance and move-in/move-out inspections Keep parts and supplies organized and notify the supervisor when inventory is needed Maintain clean common areas, grounds, and building exteriors, including trash pickup and snow removal Respond to maintenance emergencies as part of an on-call rotation Follow safety procedures and fair housing policies Qualifications 1-3 years of general maintenance experience; apartment maintenance experience preferred Working knowledge of common residential repairs Valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Availability for a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and on-call coverage High school diploma or GED EPA certification is a plus Benefits Health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match 15 days of accrued PTO per year Voluntary benefits Training and certification assistance Career growth opportunities Apply with your resume and a brief summary of your apartment or residential maintenance experience.
