Maintenance Supervisor Job Description:
Perform related maintenance to plant, system, structures and equipment.
Job Duties:
Hydraulic troubleshooting, repair and installation Cutting, welding and fabrication of metals Electrical troubleshooting, repair and installation (110, 220 and 440 systems) Repair of gas fired molten metal furnaces Pipe fitting Robot repair and programming (ABB Robots) Water pump repair Moving machinery Read and program P.L.C.'s (Allen Bradley, Slick, 503, MicroLogix, 5000 - RS Logix) Conveyor repair Wastewater cleaning Cleaning, greasing and oil of machines Rebuilding of machinery Preventative Maintenance checks (i.e. die cast machines, trim presses, air compressors, general building, etc.) Plant shut-down and lock-up for all facilities (including dumpsters) Ensure that equipment is properly maintained, and scheduled maintenance is communicated with supervisor Immediately notifies Supervisor of any non-conformances Assist in any other areas as requested by Maintenance Supervisor Fill out pertinent forms as required by company procedures and as instructed by Maintenance Manager Perform all job duties with safety and quality as primary focus (see employee PPE "Personal Protection Equipment" Matrix). This matrix is posted in each plant.
Education/Skills/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance department with electrical and die cast background (preferred) Must have mechanical abilities Must be dependable, reliable, and a self-starter Must be able to lift 40 lbs. from floor to waist
Pay:
$20.00 - $29.90 per hour
