Job Description Summary The Production Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance duties, including routine corrective and preventive maintenance, equipment installation and troubleshooting, and routine mechanical testing of plant equipment. Essential Duties Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment, as well as regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facility. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. Conduct routine mechanical testing of plant equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Qualifications Required Education and Experience High School Diploma/GED At least 3 years Maintenance Experience or Skilled Trades Experience Strong working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, compressors, piping and valves Experience with SMAW, TIG and MIG welding preferred Ability to work at heights and confined spaces Ability to work while wearing a respirator or other breathing equipment Electrical and Controls knowledge a plus Additional Information Work Environment and Physical Demands This job operates in a plant environment within a manufacturing/warehouse/shipping facility with a controlled climate in the office area, temperatures vary in the plant area. This position requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs., carrying, pushing/pulling, balancing, kneeling, and crawling. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, standard days/hours are Monday - Friday 3 pm-1 am, with the flexibility of some early hours, later hours, and weekend work when needed. Fridays are sometimes flexible. Travel No overnight or long-distance travel expected for this position Local travel may be required for errands
Wage Starting Rate:
$24/hour - Competitive pay and benefits based on experience level
Shift Differential:
