Job Summary Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Metal Stamping Maintenance Technician! Header:
Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on metal stamping presses and related machinery to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters. Conduct equipment diagnostics and repairs, including welding (stick welding), electrical system repairs, and hydraulic component servicing. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance history, and equipment status updates accurately. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to identify issues and implement effective repair solutions. Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely for maintenance access while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, and other automation components.

Skills Extensive experience in manufacturing facilities with a focus on industrial maintenance and equipment troubleshooting. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and electrical blueprint reading. Strong mechanical knowledge including industrial mechanic experience, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision measuring instruments. Hands-on experience with welding techniques such as stick welding and equipment repair skills. Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and maintenance tracking. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; HVAC/R knowledge is a plus for maintaining climate control systems. Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively resolve issues and communicate solutions clearly in English.
