In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal operation of our machinery throughout the plant. This includes routine maintenance & troubleshooting when our bread lines go down. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance & troubleshooting on mechanical systems including bakery machinery, industrial ovens, and slicers Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and related mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct appliance repairs and installations across various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed. Assist with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities to support facility functionality and safety standards. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in commercial or industrial environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems such as industrial machines. Familiarity with appliance repair, installation procedures, and troubleshooting techniques using schematics. Construction experience or background in building maintenance is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients about repairs or system issues. Leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is extremely flexible - you will not have the same day-to-day tasks. Everyday brings a new challenge. Our plant operates Sunday, Monday (off Tuesday), Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (off Saturday). Occasionally, assistance will be needed when the plant is not operating. Weekly hours are negotiable depending on how much time you want to put in. •Important - please do not call the bakery about this position.
