Job Description

Join the fastest growing property management company in Michigan as a Maintenance Technician! LR Management is looking for a dependable and hard-working individual with previous apartment maintenance experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude along with being self-motivated and self-directed. Our maintenance staff are key members of our property team who interact with our residents as they carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance which includes HVAC repair, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry. LR Management offers an outstanding total compensation package including: Competitive compensation Health, vision, and dental benefits A wide selection of voluntary benefits to meet employees' individual needs 401(k) with company match 15 days of accrued PTO per year Employee training and certification assistance Career growth opportunities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments Completing resident service requests in a timely manner Accomplishing carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks Performing preventative maintenance tasks Conducting move in/move out inspections Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts Ensuring service shop is clean and organized Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the property's indoor common areas Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including, but not limited, to trash pickup and snow removal Adhering to established policies related to fair housing Qualifications include, but are not limited to: 1-3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience A valid driver's license Applicants must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and the ability to be on-call. A high school diploma or GED The ability to lift 50 pounds
