Maintenance Technician Location:

Central Michigan (Rotating between 3 farm locations spanning Elsie and Ithaca)

DeSaegher Entities ​ Position Overview DeSaegher Entities is seeking a dependable and experienced Mechanic / Maintenance Person to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for servicing and maintaining farm equipment across three of our locations situated between Elsie and Ithaca, ensuring all machinery stays in peak operational condition. ​ Key Responsibilities ​Perform regular oil changes, routine servicing, and preventative maintenance on farm machinery and equipment. ​Troubleshoot and execute mechanical repairs on a variety of agricultural equipment. ​Coordinate with Equipment Manager and farm managers to minimize equipment downtime during critical operational windows. ​Maintain service records and manage basic shop inventory for routine maintenance supplies. ​ Work Schedule ​Flexible schedule: We operate 7 days a week and offer a flexible schedule to fit your lifestyle. ​

Hours:

Looking for someone to work 40-50 hours per week, with the ability to choose your own preferred day off. Willing to work longer hours occasionally during peak busy season or afterhours breakdowns. Qualifications & Requirements ​Previous hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, diesel mechanics, or general farm machinery repair. ​A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (a company vehicle will be provided for travel between farm locations). ​Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently across multiple sites. ​Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe work practices. ​ What We Offer ​Competitive pay based on experience. ​Company vehicle provided for work-related travel between the farm locations. ​Stable employment with a growing, multi-farm dairy operation.
