Work Schedule :
First Shift, Monday-Friday (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM), with weekends as scheduled.
Core Responsibilities Facility & Equipment Maintenance :
Perform general facility maintenance (plumbing, heating/cooling, repairs) and conduct or assist with preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment, floor scrubbers, forklifts, and conveyors.
Operations Support :
Serve as an alternate Coolant Technician, assist Shipping and Receiving as needed, and maintain cleanliness in parking, cold storage, and chemical storage areas.
Leadership & Vendor Coordination :
Prioritize, direct, and train janitorial staff; monitor cleaning supplies inventory; and act as a customer liaison for oil, coolant, and recycling vendors.
Environmental & Compliance :
Manage Storm Water Operator and Great Lakes Water Authority responsibilities, adhere to recycling and safety programs (e.g., lockout/tagout), and ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental systems (ISO 14001).
Candidate Profile & Qualifications Education :
High School minimum.
Experience :
2-3 years in facility, general maintenance, or manufacturing environments.
Key Proficiencies :
Mechanically inclined with electrical and tool room equipment experience; ability to work independently; forklift and/or man-lift experience; and Storm Water Operator Certification.
