Pool Geek is hiring 3 seasonal crew members to work alongside our lead technicians closing pools for the winter. This is our busiest stretch of the year•we close over 100 pools in six weeks•and we need dependable people who show up on time and work hard through October 15. No pool experience required. We train you on day one.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Ride with a lead technician and help winterize residential pools Help drain lines, install winter covers, and pull and store equipment Carry and load equipment, covers, and chemical containers Keep the truck stocked, organized, and clean Leave every customer's property better than you found it
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You show up. On time, every scheduled day, through October 15. This matters more to us than anything on your resume. Comfortable working outdoors all day•heat, cold, and rain included Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and be on your feet for a full shift 18 or older, with reliable transportation to our shop each morning A good attitude around customers and a willingness to be taught
WHAT WE OFFER
$18-22/hr, paid weekly, based on experience and reliability 40+ hours a week during peak closing season•overtime available Paid hands-on training from technicians with 30+ years in the trade Company truck and all tools provided•nothing comes out of your pocket A real path if you want one. Pool Geek is a 30-year, family-run company, and we'd rather promote than post. Crew members who prove themselves this fall get first call for a full-season technician role in April, with paid certification and a clear pay ladder. Several of our best techs started exactly here.
