We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and customer focused Apartment Maintenance Technician to join or team. This position is responsible for maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and property grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and attractive living environment for residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to resident satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete resident work orders in a timely and professional manner Perform repairs and maintenance involving plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, appliances, carpentry, drywall and painting, doors, locks and windows Prepare vacant apartments for new residents Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance Maintain common areas, grounds, and amenities in excellent condition Assist with snow removal, landscaping and property upkeep as needed Respond to emergency maintenance calls and participate in an on-call rotation Follow all safety procedures and company policies Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and maintenance activities Work professionally with residents, vendors, and team members Qualifications Previous apartment maintenance or related experience preferred Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building maintenance Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability to climb ladders, crawl, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand and walk for extended periods What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and understands the importance of providing excellent service to residents.
