Our state-of-the-art facility in Grand Haven is equipped with advanced machinery to handle a diverse range of glass fabrication processes. Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at GLASSource. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and maintaining our commitment to quality. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance activities. Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during maintenance activities. Collaborate with production staff to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance. Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Familiarity with electrical systems and facilities maintenance practices. Experience with fabrication techniques is a plus. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Will need to be able to train on 1st or 2nd shift for a period of time before moving to 3rd shift.
