Job Description
This position is responsible for: Builds, repairs, and maintains production support equipment. Works with Engineering/Manufacturing to build production support equipment such as, but not limited to, chutes, racks, conveyors, guards and ventilation equipment, All aspects of injection molding machines and the supporting equipment. Performs routine maintenance and repair of such equipment. Develops, implements, and maintains preventative maintenance programs. Manages preventative maintenance to ensure optimum performance and elimination of unnecessary downtime. Ensures the completeness of the system. Assists in the training of preventative maintenance programs for production associates. Conducts all preventative maintenance activities in assigned area. Maintains and repairs all in-plant vehicles. This would include forklifts, milk run carts, man-lift, etc. Performs proper inventory levels. Keeps proper inventory levels for Manufacturing as well as the Facilities. Performs routine building and facility repairs, maintenance and modification as needed. Not limited to plumbing, air lines, floor drains, layout changes, safety concerns, etc. Supports all department needs pertaining to the facilities, along with working with outside contractors, pertaining to the facilities needs. This also includes the outside as well as the inside. Troubleshoots equipment and machinery issues causing manufacturing issues and downtime. Problem solves and determines root causes to prevent issues from reoccurring. 6:50am-2:50pm
