7:00am-3:00pm We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support a high-tech manufacturing operation in Hartland, WI. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, along with experience working with automated manufacturing equipment. Don't miss this direct hire opportunity on 1st shift. Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Maintain and repair automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, servos, and VFDs
- Work with motors, conveyors, blowers, pumps, electrical controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and maintenance work orders
- Diagnose equipment problems and make necessary repairs to minimize production downtime
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements
- Fabricate or modify parts using machine-shop equipment when needed
- Perform maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and 5S procedures
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment issues
Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:
- Technical degree or training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related field preferred
- Approximately 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment, and machine-shop equipment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
