Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing CNC machining centers, powder coating systems, and assembly equipment. This role is critical to ensuring maximum uptime, product quality, and safe operations across our facility. Key Responsibilities:
CNC Equipment Maintenance Perform preventive maintenance on CNC mills and lathes Troubleshoot spindles, tool changers, ball screws, and way systems Repair coolant systems and chip conveyors Diagnose electrical components (servo drives, VFDs, motors) Assist with machine calibration and alignment Support basic PLC/Fanuc troubleshooting Powder Coating Systems Maintain conveyor systems and drive motors Troubleshoot ovens, burners, and temperature controls Service spray booths, guns, and electrostatic systems Maintain air handling and dust collection systems Monitor curing temps, airflow, and line speeds Identify and resolve coating defects Assembly Equipment Maintain automated and semi-automated assembly lines Troubleshoot pneumatic systems (cylinders, valves, regulators) Maintain torque tools and fastening systems Support sensors, safety devices, and light curtains Assist with line setups and changeovers General Maintenance Perform preventive and predictive maintenance across the facility Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Document work in CMMS system Assist with new equipment installation and commissioning Support continuous improvement initiatives Ensure OSHA and safety compliance $30.00

Friday Required:
High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred) 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of: CNC machinery and controls Industrial electrical systems (480V, 3-phase) Pneumatics and hydraulics Experience with: Servo systems and VFDs Troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (basic level) Ability to use diagnostic tools (multimeter, etc.) Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
Preferred:
Powder coating system experience (Gema or similar) Fanuc CNC experience Welding or fabrication skills Robotics experience (Fanuc, ABB) Knowledge of burner systems and temperature controls Work Environment & Physical Requirements Fast-paced manufacturing environment Exposure to machinery, heat, dust, and noise Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, bending, and working in tight spaces May require overtime or emergency call-ins Why join Leggera Technologies?
