Shift Facilities Maintenance Tech Primary Job Function:
Be prepared to work with a number of key facility equipment to maintain operations in a Stamping Plant. You will be performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) on an array of equipment including Shipping Docks, Overhead Doors, HVAC units, Air Compressors, Water Pumps, Cooling Towers, and Plant Electrical Feed Systems.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Maintain / PM and repair plant HVAC systems, heavy-duty air compressors, Water Pumps, Cooling Towers and lighting grids
  • Maintain / PM Shipping Docks, Overhead Doors
  • Respond to Associates concerns, complaints, problems, suggestions, etc. and provide information, answers and assistance in a reasonable time period
  • Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Execute company initiatives and Projects as directed by
Management Minimum Requirements:
  • 5 - 7 years' experience in an Industrial Maintenance position preferred
  • General knowledge of personal computers is expected (MS Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint; ERP system)
  • Understand Preventive / Predictive Maintenance philosophies and administration
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatics, or Electrical Trouble shooting, is a plus.
Training Requirements or Equivalents:
  • New hire orientation
  • ERP System Training
Leadership Supervisor Skills Training Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, griping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day
  • Hand and eye coordination
  • Ability to sit stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
  • Ability to use a phone and computer keyboard
