Alice Springs RV Park & Resort | Ionia, Michigan Immediate Opening - Through November 6, 2026
Please Note:
This is a Work Camper position , and applicants must own and live in their own self-contained RV during employment. A full-hookup RV site is provided as part of the compensation package. Spend the remainder of the camping season in beautiful West Michigan while working at one of the area's premier family-friendly campgrounds! Alice Springs RV Park & Resort is located between Grand Rapids and Lansing and offers a fun, welcoming environment with a swimming pool, walking trails, on-site bar and concessions, recreation areas, themed weekends, and more. We are seeking a dependable, experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team immediately through the end of the 2026 season. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, operating equipment, and taking pride in maintaining a beautiful campground. What You'll Do No two days are exactly the same.
Responsibilities may include:
General campground maintenance and repairs Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Plumbing repairs Electrical repairs and basic electrical work Carpentry and general construction projects Welding and fabrication (preferred) Diesel and gas engine repair (preferred) Building and facility maintenance Assisting with landscaping and other property improvement projects as needed Experience maintaining campground, agricultural, construction, or landscaping equipment is highly preferred. What We're Looking For Previous maintenance experience required Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Must have your own RV, as this is a Work Camper position Compensation & Benefits This is a •Work Camper trade-for-hours position•, where scheduled hours are exchanged for a full-hookup RV campsite and additional benefits.

Solo travelers and couples are both encouraged to apply. Looking Ahead While this position runs through November 6, 2026 , we're interested in finding someone who may be a great long-term fit. There may be an opportunity to return for the 2027 camping season for the right individual or couple.
