Apartment Maintenance/Janitorial Technician We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Apartment Maintenance/Janitorial Technician for a 162-unit residential apartment community located in Monroe, Michigan . The ideal candidate will have previous apartment maintenance experience and be able to work independently. This position requires strong critical-thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities include completing resident maintenance requests, general property repairs and maintenance, unit turns, and groundskeeping.. Position Requirements Plumbing and basic electrical repairs Drywall repair/replacement and minor painting Repair and replacement of appliances Pool opening and closing, daily chemical testing, and general pool maintenance 2-5 years of technical, vocational, or on-the-job training/experience in areas such as electrical, plumbing, drywall, or general maintenance Self-starter with the ability to work independently and learn quickly Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to occasionally move/lift up to 75 lbs. Must have own tools and reliable transportation Must have and maintain a valid driver's license Schedule Flexible hours — willing to work with your schedule, up to 40 hours per week Must be available for rotating after-hours emergency on-call coverage Compensation Pay commensurate with experience.
