Job Description
Maintenance Technician Plymouth, MI $31 - $33.65 per hour 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours/Week Overtime Available Overview Our client seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring workplace safety and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders. Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies. Assist with mold changes and facility maintenance projects. Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and machining tasks as needed. Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and equipment troubleshooting. Ability to read electrical schematics. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to work independently and overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed. Preferred Associate's Degree or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance. PLC and HVAC experience. Blueprint reading experience. MIG, Stick, or TIG welding experience. Why Join Us?
