Job Description

Property Maintenance Technician I (Carpet Cleaning) $17-$20 per hour | Full-Time | Company Vehicle Provided Under the supervision of the Carpet Cleaning Manager, the Property Maintenance Technician I performs scheduled and on-demand services at apartment communities, commercial buildings, and residential homes. Primary services include carpet cleaning with truck mounted units, carpet cleaning with portable units, dryer vent cleaning, air duct cleaning, and a variety of general property maintenance tasks. This position requires daily travel to job sites in company vehicles. We are looking for dependable, safety-minded technicians who take pride in quality work and professional customer service.
Typical schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility may be required based on weather and customer needs. What You'll Do (Core Services) Perform gutter cleaning, flushing, and minor repairs. Clean and inspect dryer vents. Assist with air duct cleaning and related services. Use truck mounted equipment to clean carpets Perform apartment turns Work safely on ladders, roofs, and around building exteriors. Load/unload equipment and maintain company vehicles. Complete service documentation and job reports. Communicate job progress and additional needs to supervisors. Represent the company professionally with tenants, homeowners, and property managers. Additional Maintenance Work You May Perform (These skills are highly valued and create opportunities for growth.) Drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting. Replace appliances. Repair or replace faucets, garbage disposals, and locks. Basic carpentry including cabinets and countertops. Site clean-up and unit preparation. Operation of carpet or specialty cleaning equipment. What It Takes to Succeed Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders. Able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs. Ability to kneel, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods. Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities. Professional appearance in accordance with company policy. Qualifications Experience in maintenance, construction, or field service preferred. Experience with drywall, painting, and basic repairs strongly preferred. Some plumbing or electrical experience is a plus. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Final candidates must pass background and motor vehicle record checks.
