Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys troubleshooting, and has a passion for keeping equipment running at peak performance. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances and equipment, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other building infrastructure as needed. Operate company vehicles to transport tools or equipment to different sites while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with construction projects or upgrades related to maintenance needs. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Assist with grounds keeping duties as needed. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems. Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices across various mechanical systems. Customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and guests regarding maintenance issues. Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology along with construction experience is highly desirable. Ability to operate equipment repair tools safely and efficiently while following safety standards. Leadership qualities to assist in training or guiding junior team members when necessary.
