Duluth, MN Career Strategies is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician in Duluth, MN! This is a great opportunity for a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician, Property Maintenance Technician, or Residential Maintenance Technician looking for a full-time position with a professional property management team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing apartment maintenance, building maintenance, preventative maintenance, work orders, unit turns, and general property repairs. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Complete daily maintenance work orders and resident service requests Perform apartment maintenance and unit turns to prepare apartments for new residents Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance issues Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the apartment community Inspect apartments, buildings, common areas, and mechanical areas for maintenance needs Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards Respond to maintenance emergencies and urgent service requests as needed Maintain property grounds, common areas, and building exteriors as needed Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and repairs Communicate professionally with residents, property management, and team members Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained apartment community Maintenance Technician Qualifications Previous apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, facilities maintenance, or property maintenance experience preferred Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, and general building maintenance Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Ability to diagnose maintenance problems and determine appropriate repairs Experience completing work orders and apartment turns preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and perform physical maintenance duties If you have experience as an Apartment Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technician, Facilities Technician, Property Maintenance Technician, Building Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic , we encourage you to apply!
