Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Building & Equipment Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our manufacturing facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems and equipment. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building interior components using schematics, hand tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding tasks and mechanical repairs to maintain facility infrastructure. Maintain facilities equipment by replacing parts, calibrating systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Lead or assist with maintenance painting projects and carpentry tasks to uphold building aesthetics and functionality. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Skills PRIOR knowledge and experience with building maintenance related to manufacuring facilities including HVAC systems repair, plumbing system maintenance and repair, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting electrical equipment using tools like ohmmeters. Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automated system control. Strong mechanical knowledge related to facilities equipment maintenance and repair operations (MRO). Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
