Essential Functions Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment (e.g., mechanical drive systems, HVAC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems) Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with plant equipment (e.g., wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, electrical installations, transformers, motors, and AC/DC motor drives) Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment Perform building maintenance and repairs (e.g., air conditioning, lights, forklifts) Perform small repairs on equipment to prevent long-term downtime until permanent repairs can be completed Report on food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies) Strong troubleshooting skills Experience or willingness to learn pneumatics, and hydraulics Willing to learn and obtain boilers license and electrical maintenance license. Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices Well-rounded mechanical skills and experience Written and verbal communication skills Ability to work overtime as needed High school diploma or equivalent Technical degree in a maintenance related field, MN Special Engineer Boiler License or higher, or refrigeration experience preferred $2,000 Sign-On Bonus after 90 days. 3rd shift 10pm - 6am
