Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and support the upkeep of our facility. This position is responsible for keeping CNC and manual production equipment operating safely and effectively through troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and timely response to equipment issues. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of CNC machines, including vertical machining centers, lathes, and mills, as well as other production equipment such as manual equipment, cranes, presses, and forklifts.
  • Diagnose equipment problems; replace or repair parts; test equipment; and make necessary adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on production machines and vehicles.
  • Install, maintain, and support facility and production equipment as needed.
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of shop equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs as required.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams efficiently.
  • Diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters, alarm messages, and other testing devices.
  • Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment in performing maintenance duties.
  • Perform daily preventive maintenance activities and adapt priorities when equipment is down.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities and enter required maintenance data into the CMMS.
  • Perform building maintenance as needed; building maintenance is a secondary focus of the position.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications & Skills
  • 5-10 years of direct or related experience in CNC and manual equipment maintenance.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience entering maintenance information into a CMMS.
  • Self-starter who can work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Ability to maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Must have own tools. What We Offer

Pay:
$27.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
