Direct Hire | Full-time The Maintenance Technician is a hands-on manufacturing role focused on troubleshooting production equipment, supporting automation systems, and maintaining safe, efficient operations. This position plays a key role in diagnosing equipment breakdowns, working with VFD-driven systems, using PLCs for diagnostics, and supporting new equipment installations. Hours are 6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday located in Le Center, MN. Growth opportunities available to move into leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Install and replace motors, drives (VFDs), sensors, and related components Configure and adjust VFD parameters and settings to support equipment operation Use PLC systems (primarily Allen-Bradley) as a diagnostic tool for fault identification and troubleshooting (no PLC programming required) Support equipment changeovers, line startups, and commissioning of new machinery Work with OEMs and vendors during troubleshooting and installation efforts What we are looking for: Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment Working knowledge of VFDs, including installation, drive replacement, and basic parameter adjustments Ability to use PLC systems (primarily Allen-Bradley) strictly as a diagnostic tool (no PLC programming required) Comfort supporting new machinery installations and line startups Strong safety awareness and ability to operate with minimal supervision #CareerChangeByDoherty Ready to Apply?
