Facilities Maintenance Technician | 2nd Shift

Compensation:

Starting hourly rate for this position is: $24.00 per hour An additional $2.00 shift differential will be applied while working 2nd shift Pay is based on job-related experience

Schedule:

Monday - Friday (Starting at 4pm - 12:30am)

Essential Functions:

Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts and reassemble machines. Perform preventative scheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment, and building equipment. Follow all procedures such as lock out tag out and HACCP. (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Operate, install, maintain, and / or repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing throughout the facilities Ensure proper completion of work orders Perform all duties with required safety equipment and comply with all safety regulations and company policies Completes work orders and data entry tasks daily.

Required Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude. Strong electrical aptitude. Ability to safely lift 50 pounds. Ability to stand, lift and bend for up to 10 hours (with breaks) in cold and damp environment. Ability to work independently Electro/mechanical trouble shooting Read and understand blueprints, layouts, and schematics of electrical and mechanical systems Ability to use measuring and testing equipment (caliper, volt ohm meter, etc.) Ability to work in a team based environment Computer skills, keyboarding Microsoft word/excel The J&B Group, an Equal Opportunity Employer, wishes to make our Careers website accessible to any and all users.
