This is an on-the-road position for someone who is comfortable meeting new people, working independently, and building their income through results. You will visit selected neighborhoods, speak with property owners, identify potential projects, and generate your own customers for SimpleProjectKC. Our team will provide information about our services, support with project estimates, and the resources needed to represent the company professionally. Responsibilities Canvass selected residential neighborhoods Introduce homeowners to SimpleProjectKC and our available services Ask questions and identify each property owner's needs Generate qualified leads and schedule estimate appointments Collect accurate customer contact and project information Coordinate with our project team during the estimating process Follow up with prospective customers after estimates are provided Help move opportunities from the initial conversation to an approved project Maintain organized records of leads, appointments, follow-ups, and sales Represent SimpleProjectKC professionally and respectfully Respect "No Soliciting" signs and applicable neighborhood requirements Services You'll Represent Lawn mowing and recurring property maintenance Landscape cleanups and renovations Mulch and decorative rock installation Shrub trimming, planting, and removal Aeration, overseeding, and lawn treatments Drainage and irrigation solutions Patios, retaining walls, and other hardscaping Concrete and exterior property improvements Seasonal cleanups and snow-removal services What We're Looking For Confident and comfortable speaking with homeowners Friendly, professional, and persuasive communication Self-motivated and able to work independently Dependable with strong follow-up skills Comfortable walking and working outdoors Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Smartphone with reliable service Previous sales, canvassing, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required Willingness to learn our services and accurately represent the company Compensation and Opportunity This is a performance-based, commission-only position with uncapped earning potential. Most qualifying jobs pay approximately 8-10% commission, depending on the type, size, and structure of the project. Select ongoing services may also provide recurring commission opportunities while the customer's account remains active and current. Commission applies to qualifying self-generated business and is paid based on customer payments collected. Final commission terms will be clearly explained before employment begins. Schedule and Service Area The schedule is flexible, with the strongest door-to-door opportunities generally occurring during afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Work will take place throughout selected Kansas City-area neighborhoods, including Blue Springs, Lee's Summit, Independence, and surrounding communities.
